The recent trend of domestic PVC paste resin market is improving

In the past month, the domestic PVC paste resin market has been the main trading center, with a positive trading atmosphere. At the end of July, the average price of glove materials increased by about 540 yuan/ton compared to the beginning of the month, and the average price of leather materials increased by about 850 yuan/ton.

Analysis shows that the upward trend in the market is mainly supported by the improvement of the supply and demand relationship in the PVC paste resin market. In terms of supply, some enterprises in Xinjiang temporarily stopped production in June and resumed operation at the end of July. During the month, some production units in Liaoning, Shandong, and Inner Mongolia underwent maintenance, resulting in a decrease in industry operating load compared to the previous month, leading to a decrease in market supply. In terms of demand, most downstream enterprises have low inventory of raw materials. Based on the consideration of centralized maintenance of later production enterprises and the shortage of supply, they have gradually started to restock, which has driven the PVC paste resin market to rise.

Later, due to the planned shutdown and overhaul of some glove factories in Shandong, the overall demand for PVC paste resin glove materials is difficult to improve, and the market benefits are mainly concentrated on the supply side. For example, in August, PVC paste resin enterprises in the northwest and East China regions still had centralized maintenance. At present, the manufacturer's inventory is low, and there are still orders to be delivered. The enterprise has little pressure to ship, and most of the quotations are firm and wait-and-see; At the same time, after the raw material calcium carbide entered August, the transaction center has rebounded, which will enhance the cost support for PVC paste resin. Overall, there are still good expectations for the domestic PVC paste resin market in the future, and it is likely that the upward trend will continue.
